WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is to appear in a London court to fight extradition to Sweden over alleged sex crimes. Sweden denies any intention to extradite him to the US, but as RT has found out, Stockholm may be far from impartial in this case.

I got a bit irritated with the cultural references - I mean, what does Deer Hunter and Mc Donalds prove? Apart from that, the conclusion is correct; Swedish government IS corrupt, taking orders from US, and the courts are run by politically elected officials. Bodström is a particularly poisonous snake...

@ Cristian Jonsson
Oh yeah...
Your courts had already a chance to show the different standard in The Pirate Case. And now in the Julian Assange case. And when wiretapping law has been voted on. This is the war between financial and political elites and rest of the world. It doesn't matter if you're from Sweden or from other country. If you're not one of the richest people of the world this war is coming for you.

Ok Sweden is a nice country and there is no reason not to have a good relationship with the USA, but why extradite a person just for questioning about a case that has already been dismissed? This guy was allowed to leave Sweden and now Sweden wants to drag him back for some questioning. The facts make a bad impression on Sweden.

Regardless of the judicial tradition or whatever else, it's obvious that the Swedes are in bed with the Americans on this one.

Especially with Bodström in there who can trust the Swedish law?

Kristina,

There's a world of difference between what is actually written law and what actually happens in court. Otherwise we'd all be hailing the U.S.S.R.'s constitution as the most enlightened so far in the world. Written words are frequently ignored if it is more profitable for The Powers That Be to ignore them, or in many cases, flagrantly violate their own laws.

Haha, this was by far the most [censored]ed thing I've ever heard.

Deer Hunter. Pizza Hut. R to the tards.

And what country does not have a 'cozy' relationship with the US? Is Assange his own nation? Swedish law mandates that no extraditions can occur without the explicit and written consent of the arresting nation, in this case: The United Kingdom. This is what happens when you listen to hearsay and don't look into what is actually written law.

Assange will not end the american domination simply because one person is not enough. However, he can trigger the beginning of this process. Many people are getting aware of the usa occupation if i can express it in that way.As the technologies as much as repressed they are, are getting more and more advanced which leads to more people using internet which is the place all of them can communicate and share information i.e a place where people unite. unite people = freedom

How is the movie The Deer Hunter a piece of propaganda?
