Dresses, suits and accessories from well-known fashion brands such as Emilio Pucci, Yves Saint Laurent, André Courrèges, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, Paco Rabanne och Balenciaga will go under the hammer at Stockholm's Auktionsverk, the world’s oldest auction house, next week.

Most dresses are in the expected price range of 1,000 - 7,000 kronor ($140 - 1,000). A Kelly Bag by Hermès is expected to be sold for 22,000 - 24,000 kronor.

The collection includes items from the Swedish Märthaskolan, founded by Marg von Schwerin. The objects range from the 1920s, when the operation started, until it closed in the 1970s.

Märthaskolan had the rights to manufacture the original models from well-known French brands such as Lanvin, Balmain, Balenciaga, Dior and Chanel. An original model of Dior is among others represented at the auction.

On Monday February 15 Stockholm's Auktionsverk will try to recreate the success of last year’s fashion auction when every single item was sold.
