Investment Europe writes that Sweden's Financial Markets minister Peter Norman has reiterated a demand that banks in the country meet tougher capitalisation requirements, because the sector is bigger in proportion to the economy than is the case in most European countries.

"A large banking sector is good for the country in good times, but is disturbing if things are bad," Norman said.
