• ‘The general market is skeptical towards Norway’

Norwegian apartment prices may decline in the first quarter, Bloomberg said, referring to a survey by the Association of Swedish Real Estate Agents.

“Compared with previous quarters, the difference between Norway and the other countries has increased,” the association said. More real estate agents in Norway forecast a drop in apartment prices than see an increase, while the survey in Sweden and Denmark shows unchanged or rising prices.

Some 39 percent of real estate agents in Norway in the association’s Nordic Housing Insight survey forecast that apartment prices will fall because of “general concern and caution”, Bloomberg said.
