53-year-old action hero Jean-Claude Van Damme got paid 1-2 million kronor ($156,000-312,000) for his “epic” split between two moving Volvo trucks, which turned in to one of the most popular YouTube commercials ever, according to business daily Dagens Industri.
The fascinating scene went viral on YouTube with more than 68 million views, Van Damme saw a career resurgence and Volvo Truck sales rose 31 percent in November, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Swedish football star Zlatan Ibrahimović got paid 10-12 million kronor ($1.55-1.86 million) for his performance in Volvo cars’s new Youtube video ad.
