Apple says Nokia world’s best smartphone

Apple’s latest smart phone, iPhone 4s, has been reprimanded by its maker.

When asking Apple’s voice-activated assistant Siri “What is the best smartphone ever?” it favors an iPhone rival.

Over the weekend, users of Siri were told the answer was Nokia’s Lumia 900, international media reports. However, Siri now responds to the same question with a jovial: “Wait… there are other phones?”

Nokia spokeswoman Tracey Postill told the Sydney Morning Herald: “Apple position Siri as the intelligent system that’s there to help, but clearly if they don’t like the answer, they override the software.”

Siri – Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface – is an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator which works as an application for Apple’s iOS.

As soon as they changed the software to change the Siri answer, they made the software biased. So now you cannot trust 100% any of the answers given. Such a shame, should have left it as it was.
