Wikileaks’ former spokesman Daniel Domscheit-Berg, who was Assange's second-in-command for three years at Wikileaks, is writing a tell-all book about the whistleblowing website.
This is another blow for Julian Assange who was arrested in London Tuesday and is now awaiting extradition proceedings to Sweden where he faces rape allegations. Daniel Domscheit-Berg, had a very public fallout with Assange at the end of September, criticising Assange's "authoritarian" ways.
German publisher Econ Verlag plan to publish the book “Inside Wikileaks: My Time at the World's Most Dangerous Website” on 27 January.
The book will “take us into the heart of WikiLeaks” and “tell the story of WikiLeaks as it has not yet been heard", the publisher said.
