A gauge of the dollar rose to the highest level in a month before a U.S. government report that economists said will show durable goods orders rebounded in June, adding to signs the economy is gathering momentum, the Bloomberg news bureau said.

Sweden’s krona advanced to a three-week high versus the euro as a report showed retail sales increased.

Sweden’s krona rose 0.3 percent to 9.1657 per euro after touching 9.1566, its strongest level since July 3, Bloomberg said.

Swedish retail sales rose 0.5 percent in June, a report showed. Economists forecast a reading of 0.4 percent.
