Every year the City of Stockholm throws a popular business networking event for foreign companies and trade organisations with the aim of highlighting potential new areas for investment and growth in the Stockholm area and the rest of Sweden.

On 25 October, Mayor Sten Nordin will welcome guests to City Hall for a day of panel discussions, cocktails and mingling.

The invitation said: “Foreign companies established in Stockholm are important to the growth and sustainable development of our region.

“The annual networking event at The City Hall is an outstanding opportunity for exchange of ideas between the Mayor of Stockholm, the neighbouring municipalities and the international companies in the region.”
The event is organised in collaboration with Stockholm Business Region and the British, Canadian, German, French, American and Italian chambers of commerce.

This year’s gathering will seek to highlight “Vision Stockholm 2030”, which is an overall, long-term vision for a sustainable growth and development of the Swedish capital.

The two panel discussions will challenge how Stockholm can achieve its sustainability goals set out in “Vision Stockholm 2030”.

Panellists include Lars Heikensten, CEO of The Nobel Foundation, Johan Sandell, CEO of IBM Sweden, Aimone Di Savoia Aosta, CEO of Pirelli Tyre Nordic, and Olivier Coutin, CEO of Unibail-Rodamco Nordic.
