Sex reduces risk of heart attacks: Swedish study
The Daily Mirror reports that although sex involves physical exertion, research suggests that its effect on the heart has been largely exaggerated.
Swedish researchers have found that exercise (from sex or any other type of physical activity) actually reduced the risk of heart attack.
However, another report published in the current edition of The Journal of the American Medical Association suggests that both exercise and sex can lead to a slight increase in the risk of a cardiac event.
