Two Swedish officers killed in Afghanistan
Two Swedish army officers and an Afghan interpreter were killed when a patrol came under attack in northern Afghanistan Sunday, Sweden's armed forces announced.

A third Swedish soldier was wounded in the gun attack near the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif, a statement said.
Taliban fighters waging an insurgency against the Afghan government are less active in the north than other areas, but militants have taken their fight across the country.
The attack took to four the number of Swedish soldiers killed in Afghanistan since Stockholm sent troops into the country in 2001, armed forces spokesman Niklas Englund told AFP.
More than 500 Swedish troops are currently deployed in Afghanistan, working alongside soldiers from around 43 countries in a NATO-led International Security Assistance Force.
