Why Sweden climbs in competitive ranking

• Sweden overtakes the US in competitiveness

Availability to the latest technology, professional management and a non-corrupt society put Sweden as the world’s second most competitive country, overtaking the United States and Singapore.

Jennifer Blanke, the head of the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Network discusses highlights of the Global Competitiveness Report 2010-2011, including why Sweden climbs and the US drops.

This is very surprising relating to the fact that Sweden's is now governed by Moderaterna, with tax cutting as their only goal.
