The five members of Ofog (Mischief) broke into the Vidsel base in northern Norrbotten before being picked up by police and taken in for questioning, the group said in a statement.
"There were four women and one man who was driving their car and helping them to get inside," police spokesman Roger Jonsson told AFP.
Jonsson said the five were released during the afternoon without charge.
Ofog is a protest group that campaigns against military use of force and global arms trading.
Some 50 aircraft from a dozen countries are taking part in the exercise that runs until June 16, dubbed Loyal Arrow.
Sweden is not a full member of NATO and opposition to the Western alliance is strong in the Scandinavian country.
It is a member of the NATO's Partnership for Peace programme, and participates in the alliance's ISAF force in Afghanistan.
