The more you drink, the more money you raise for charity.
Drink for Good is a fundraising initiative taking place on Wednesday 4 September. On that evening local charity Hands On Hong Kong is partnering with bars in Central, Soho, LKF and TST who will donate $5 or more to the organisation for each drink purchased.
The organisation will then use the funds raised to take disabled children to Ocean Park.
"The event is about drinking in moderation, not about getting drunk. We are raising money by many people having a drink or two, not by one or two people having many drinks", Hands On said on its website.
With more than 50 well-known sponsors, like Wall Street Journal, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Alibaba Group, Weblaa and a number of Chamber of Commerce, the organiser aims to raise at least 100,000 HKD.
"Drink For Good is a different sort of fundraiser for charity. No guilt, no fuss, just a damn good time with a great outcome for a group of kids in Hong Kong", Dow Jones' head of communication Ali Bullock said in an invitation.
