Stockholm 7th most expensive for club sandwich

Stockholm has just been deemed among the most expensive cities in the world to order a club sandwich, according to a new ranking by online accommodation booking website hotels.com. With an average price of 22 US-dollars, the Swedish capital was ranked the 7th most expensive club sandwich city.
The classic chicken, bacon, egg, lettuce and mayo sandwich, a standard lunch available in hotels worldwide, was used as a universal measure of affordability in the Hotels.com Club Sandwich Index.
With an average price of 33 dollars, Paris was the city with the most expensive club sandwich in the world, followed by Geneva ($32) and Oslo ($30).
"Paris may well be the gastronomic capital of the world, but travelers may be better off sticking to a croque-monsieur," Hotels.com spokeswoman Alison Couper said in a statement.
The least expensive cities for a club sandwich from all 30 global cities surveyed are New Delhi, India and Mexico City, Mexico, with the average price coming in at just 10 dollar.
